A "cheap" cruise can be an expensive mistake!
Cruise Specialists work hard and listen to their clients to match their cruise needs to their individual lifestyle and budget. You can avoid the pitfalls many cruisers fall into when they attempt to plan their cruise vacation on their own.

Why you should NOT book a cruise without the assistance of a Cruise
Specialist - assistance that is provided to you at no cost!:

1. Lack of product knowledge can lead to inappropriate choices (i.e. wrong destination, cruise line, ship or cabin category, etc.):

Cruise specialists are constantly educating themselves with continuing education, including product and destination seminars, tradeshows, and customer feedback. A good cruise consultant will get to know you by asking questions and understanding your needs.

2. Calling a cruise line directly, you will receive biased information:

A cruise specialist works for you and has your best interest in mind. They do not work for a specific cruise line.  Unlike the cruise lines that only want you to sail on their ships, we will consider all cruise lines on your behalf and look for the best ship, price, and itinerary for you.

3. Booking yourself, you are NOT getting the best rates and amenities:

Cruise specialists have excellent relationships with all the cruise lines, resorts, tour companies, airlines, etc. and receive special offers and fare updates daily. This enables the cruise specialists to pass the most current promotions on to you.

This service is free to you! Calling the cruise line is not going to give you a better price. A cruise specialist will get you the same price or better AND provide the service you deserve - with honesty and integrity!  Plus, they continue to monitor your cruise to see if any specials are offered that could lower your rate, even after you have paid in full.  You won't get time-consuming services like this from online companies or the cruise lines.

4. Not having a clear understanding of all the penalties, restrictions, and pricing involved can lead to not getting the best rates and amenities, and even cause steep penalties:

Knowledgeable cruise specialists understand the rules and policies of the industry. They can help you sort out different price structures and make sure you get the best price for your needs with no hidden fees!

5. Wasting hours of your time researching on your own:

Time is money.  Cruise specialists provide one-stop shopping for travelers who require air arrangements, rental cars, cruise accommodations and hotel stays with suggestions that are in your best interest - not the suppliers.

6. Having problems with your reservation?  Who are you going to call?

Your cruise specialist! They are your advocate in the event something goes wrong. If you book online, or with the cruise lines, you will never speak to the same person twice. And when you do speak with someone, almost always they have never even seen a ship or been to any of the ports! They don't know you or your situation. (Don't you hate having to repeat your situation again and again when trying to get a problem solved?)

Your cruise specialist already knows you and will help. They have contacts not available to you.

7. Falling for those specials offered by discounters!:

Those specials may sound like a great deal, but often will end up costing you more in the long run.  They do not care about you as a client, they simply want to make a sale. They have no knowledge of the cruise line, ship, ports, resort, or the many procedures involved. They may offer discounts, upgrades, or onboard credit, but these are attempts to 'buy' your business. These agents almost always have hidden fees for everything. So, not only can they not provide you the service you deserve, but they will charge you everytime you need help.

The cruise specialists' expertise, knowledge, experiences, and services are free to you!
